Western Maverick offers breeders the chance to breed to a World Champion racehorse, sired by a World Champion and from an iron-tough, stakes winning dam. Western Maverick’s combination of impeccable pedigree, flawless conformation, and extremely quick early speed makes him an excellent choice for Canadian breeders.

At 2, Western Maverick won his first start by 2 lengths in 1:59.3h, only to return the following week and wire the field in the Meadows' Arden Downs Stake, pacing a mile in 1:54.3f - last quarter in :27.4! He went wire to wire to win the Bluegrass at Lexington by 2 lengths in 1:52 - last quarter in :27, and set a world record winning the Abe Lincoln Pace by 4 lengths in 1:53h at Maywood Park,  where he still holds the track record!  Western Maverick paced seven miles in 1:53 or faster at 2.
