Pegasus Spur’s sophomore season was even better, highlighted by wins in the American-National, Canadian Trotting Classic consolation, and two Pennsylvania Sire Stakes. Other outstanding efforts that season included a second place finish in the $1 Million Hambletonian to Scarlet Knight and a brilliant performance in the Breeders Crown Final at Woodbine to be second by only a nose at the wire. As a four-year-old he won the Dygert Memorial concluding his career with winnings of just over $1.3 million.
